My real name is not Malachi Rails, it's Malachi Asgharian. I grew up in Ireland, but I now live in Valencia, Spain. I speak English, Irish, Spanish, and Persian. (I'm part Iranian).

My Journey

I began coding out of curiosity, but quickly fell in love with the beauty of Ruby and the power of Rails. I love Youtube, and making videos that help others learn Rails is very rewarding for me.

My Path So Far

Got into coding to make a game

Everyone loves playing games, but I wanted to create one myself.
I dove into Unity and released a game called Bidampeed on the Play Store.
It hit 1,000+ downloads, Although I eventually stopped updating it,
that experience lit the spark for everything that came next.

Found Ruby on Rails

I was asked to build a web app connecting advertisers with content creators.
After some research, I discovered Rails - elegant, powerful, and perfect for the job.
I started learning in early 2021.

Created Malachi Rails

Over the past 4+ years, my channel has grown into a hub for helping others learn Rails
I’ve guided countless aspiring developers and shared every insight I could.
Now, I’m transforming it into a real business, taking everything I’ve learned and turning it into something more impactful. The journey continues, and the best is yet to come.

Beyond Code

Coding is just part of my journey. I’m also focused on building myself as a person, and I'm always open to new opportunities.
